Cities of Myth: The Cost of Hope (d20)
The Cost of Hope is a three-part adventure for three to four Tier 2 (6-9th level) players¸ set in our Cities of Myth: Fallen Camelot setting for 5e. Each part should take 1 or 2 sessions.
During these three adventures¸ explorers will gather different artifacts for Sir Dristan (a descendant of one of the Knights of the Round Table) from empty tombs and dragon lairs. Sir Dristan is willing to sacrifice himself to transform into a black knight¸ a power with which he can defeat Queen Morgana. Will the explorers help him¸ or will they find another way?
Filled with puzzles¸ epic battles¸ hidden secrets¸ and wondrous magic items¸ the Cost of Hope has something for every table and every play style. Will you make Sir Dristan pay the cost to hope for a better future?
Included in this adventure:
- Part 1: The Tomb of Lord Alfraec. Filled with traps¸ puzzles¸ and secret doors.
- Part 2: The Lair of Zallzavier. Fight an undead dragon¸ cure a corrupted land¸ and recieve magic items like the bite of pride and drop of the moon
- Part 3: Trial of the Black Knight. Navigate your way through a series of rooms and various encounters. At the end¸ choose your side and fight either the Black Knight or the Champion of Morgana.
- Where to go from here. This adventure presents options to integrate it into a larger campaign to more fully immerse the party in the world of Fallen Camelot.
