Book 1: The Rise of Quick-Clank McCrank
A Wild West-themed fantasy adventure set within the town of Westhallow¸ a small far-flung farmstead settlement on the edge of civilization. You should be able to drop this adventure into any campaign setting¸ published or otherwise. This adventure contains a balanced mix of the three pillars of RPG play: Social Interaction¸ Exploration¸ and Combat.
The aim for this first adventure is to allow the players to explore and discover Westhallow¸ and act as the introductory adventure for a yee-hawin'¸ knee-slappin'¸ Wild West setting.
One night the clockwork invention of tinkerer gnome Bellis Rustgear malfunctioned taking on a fictitious Wild West personality. Naming itself Quick-Clank McCrank¸ the construct stole Bellis's other unique inventions¸ the leadspitter pistols. Creating new clockwork humanoids that share its bizarre mannerisms and armed with Bellis's weapons¸ Quick-Clank has taken control of Westhallow and forced the residents to roleplay its vision of a strange society where people use words like 'howdy' and 'yeehaw.'
Now Quick-Clank is ready to inflict some new and dangerous oddity onto the good people of Westhallow; an event that will take its rootin'-tootin' vision to the extreme!
Book 2: A Regional Guide to Westhallow
A region on a remote frontier¸ far from the reach of great kingdoms or noble houses¸ has been changed for hundreds of miles around into a rugged land of scrub-brush desert¸ rugged badlands¸ and untamed forests. The architect of this transformation has not stopped with geography; the magical phenomenon has turned people and creatures to match its aesthetic of what people have begun to call 'the Untamed West.' People begin to speak with strange turns of phrase like "howdy¸" terms of familiarity like "partner¸" and exclamations of "yee-haw!"
This gazetteer describes the many unique locations in the town of Westhallow and its surrounding regions to the north and south to give you everything you need to keep adventuring in this strange wierd west themed setting.
Book 3: The Bounty Board of the Dusty Boot Saloon
While the Wranglers of Westhallow adventure series has main adventure arcs¸ there are times when the heroes of Westhallow are between adventures. This is a perfect time to throw in some mini-quests and drop-in encounters to keep the town happenings revolving.
There are several such quests in this book¸ ranging from singular encounters to a multi-encounter mini-quest. These are perfect to bridge gaps between levels for different main adventures should the characters need to reach a certain level to progress your campaign.
Book 4: Spirit of the Untamed West
A Wild West-themed fantasy adventure set around the region of Westhallow¸ a small far-flung farmstead settlement on the edge of civilization.
