Archetype Compendium II (5e)
Here are four more archetypes ready for use! Each has been balanced against those in the Player's Handbook¸ but individual DMs are free to make whatever changes are deemed appropriate. In this installation¸ I present the following archetypes: Divine Knight - a martial archetype for fighters¸ these soldiers-of-the-gods receive clerical spells to augment their physical prowess. If you have ever wanted to play a paladin with the full martial capabilities of a fighter¸ then this sub-class is for you. Survivalist - another fighter archetype¸ the survivalist fills the role of a "ranger without spells." If you're looking for an outdoor-oriented character¸ one who can stand beside any warrior in combat and still get on in the wilds¸ this is the archetype you've been looking for. Magician - a new wizard archetype¸ the magician trades the higher-level spells that wizards eventually learn for a broad array of lesser magics. Even though magicians never reach the lofty heights of spellcasting power that their colleagues do¸ they have more tricks up their sleeves than the usual casters¸ and are better prepared for a wide array of circumstances. White Necromancer - this wizardly school is dedicated to good applications of necromancy. They are strict opponents of the undead and learn techniques for keeping their allies alive and healthy...along with the usual powerful spells available to other wizards. If you find this product useful¸ you can find my other works here in DMs Guild: Archetype Compendium I¸ Archetype Compendium III¸ Backgrounds Volumes 1-3¸ as well as Grey Mist Peak¸ a detailed adventure for tier 2 characters with over 50 pages of challenges¸ NPCs¸ and epic new magic items for your players to discover. For those interested in introducing new spells into their 5th edition game¸ Spell Compendium I offers more than 150 spells converted from past editions for your gaming pleasure.
