Circle of the Wyrm - Druid Archetypes (5e)
The power of the dragons was once thought to be infinite and uncontrollable. Even now dragons are feared for their power and size. Some Druids have been gifted with the ability to channel such power. Those with a strong enough will and an affinity for shape shifting must make a choice. The Circle of the Wyrm is one of power and sacrifice. Granting power beyond imagination¸ Druids who choose this circle must be wise enough to use their abilities at the right moment or suffer dire consequences I do not require any payment but I would encourage anyone who downloads this to please do at least a minor critique or comment on the druid circle. If you could do that I would be more than pleased. Thanks in advance. Inspired by the work of Das_Uberboat (on Giant in the Playground) and other similar works. This document is comprised of two pages. the first page describes the druid circle ability¸ and the second page is a list of all of the dragon's listed by CR in the Monster Manuel. This document is a rough draft¸ but I have attempted to make it look semi-professional. Thanks for any advice you give and Happy Gaming! Update 1: 1) Removed "Draconic Rage" completely 2) Replaced "Favored Form" with "Tooth and Claw" 3) Made "Wyrm Heal" level ten and "Favored Identity" (once part of "True Dragon") level six 4) Made a few changes to "Dragon Shape" (removed exhaustion and added clarification to a few rules) 5) Changed "Draconic Flame" to "Dragon's Breath" 6) Changes to "Change Shape" to be considered medium or smaller for spell casting purposes 7) "Dragconic Flame" (now "Dragon's Breath") only gives a 5-6 recharge now 8) "Favored Identity" (once apart of "True Dragon") now grants double proficiency rather than double bonuses
