Creature Compendium: Thir-Nohrin (5e)
" It is said that the wood elves came to the Neihirins in a time of need¸ to ask their help against a mighty foe. To express their gratitude and to protect the Neihirins in battle¸ the elves dressed them in mighty armors. Ironically it was the magic of the armors¸ when warped by the enemy¸ that brought the Thir-Nohrins about. Once slain¸ the Neihirins were summoned back to an undead existence by dark powers. Energized by elven craft and magic¸ the creatures continued a twilight existence¸ now governed by evil. They could no longer remove their suits of war¸ but would eternally be trapped inside of them. They had become the Thir-Nohrins. One with their armor¸ they were raised from the dead¸ always ready to kill. " Introducing the Thir-Nohrin¸ an undead menace haunting the ancestral woodlands of the elves¸ bound to enternal unlife by the armour they wear. Based on the concept and illustrations by Nicholas Cloister of www.MonstersByEmail; converted for use with the Fifth Edition (5E) of the worlds greatest roleplaying game. The creature compendium is a seres of small publications¸ each designed to introduce a new and interesting creature. Each publication includes the background and statistics for the creature; along with adventure ideas to help the game master add the creature to their campaign. Included with this product are two pages of pawns ready for you to print out and assemble. Liven up your battlefield with these alternatives to miniatures. Look out for more titles in this series.
